License Plate Mirror Frame

I received a nice message from a customer on Etsy a while back, looking for a mirror frame for her son's new bedroom.

After much planning and cutting, the project is finished! It will ship as four separate pieces, to be assembled by the customer down in Alabama and attached to the mirror. Each corner is mitered to fit neatly into the other.

The mirror is 4 ft by 2 1/2 ft and will be a great finishing touch to the new room decor! I used a broad sampling of plates, from different eras and states. The oldest is a blue and orange 1958 Pennsylvania license plate.

Among others I also selected a 1966 Ohio plate, an orange 1970s New York plate, a 1976 Tennessee plate, and others spanning from the 60s to the 90s.

Enjoy!
